I realize I live in Alaska….therefore, I realize, snow in April is possible. I’m usually pretty realistic about the whole snow thing in “spring”. However, this time I’ve had it. Today, on April 25, 2008 Anchorage was covered with 10 inches!!! And we’re still counting, dogonnit!!! (a record for Anchorage) A weather warning has been issued, so people aren’t supposed to be out unless it’s an emergency. Tons of local events have been cancelled, except for an annual concert with a bunch of local bands THAT I was SUPPOSED to go to. That ticks me off majorly, since 1) I had to wrangle a bunch of obstacles in order to go to this, and 2) I can’t go, and 3) they’re not canceling, or even postponing the event!!!! I CAN’T believe that! Sometimes I WISH Alaskans weren’t so crazy.
